If the project is implemented, as well as about one crore villages people will receive this power facility along with irrigation. Besides, 9 lac tons of diesel used to run the irrigation pump would be spent in the year and subsidy was given at Tk 24-26 per liter. As a result, the Government has saved 65 crore rupees in the last one year, if the solar pump is installed, the government will be saved.
